John Mueller di Google ha confermato un raro bug dell’algoritmo che fa sì che i siti rimangano bloccati in un limbo che impedisce loro di classificarsi nelle SERP…olè!

Il Bug di Google… chi colpisce?

Parliamo di BERT, MUM, Intelligenza artificiale e poi ancora oggi Google si perde in alcune banalità che però possono creare grossi problemi e danni di visibilità! John Mueller ha spiegato di questo insolito BUG di Google che mette i siti in un “limbo”. Non si riesce a capire il perchè o percome, ma pare che sia dovuto a qualcosa legato o alla storia del dominio (precedentemente penalizzato) o alla sua qualità (contenuti o link pessimi) o a problemi tecnici. In ogni modo in alcuni casi i siti sono in questo limbo da anni e non c’è speranza di uscirne.

Ecco cosa ha affermato Mueller:

“The other thing that I’ve very, very rarely seen, is that a site gets stuck in some kind of a weird in-between state in our systems in that…

…at some point our algorithms reviewed the website and found it to be absolutely terrible and uh for whatever reason those parts of the algorithms just took a very long time to be updated again.

And sometimes that can be several years.

These are things that I’ve seen every now and then but they’re extremely rare.

So the chances of any random website kind of falling into it is fairly low but it is something where if you struggle and you really see that you’re doing a lot of things right and nothing seems to be working then do reach out to use and see if there’s something on our side that might be stuck.

But, I would say, at least technical things, they resolve very quickly.

Kind of the weird things stuck in the algorithms side, I would say that that’s a lot rarer nowadays, especially if something happened …five, ten years ago and your site is stuck in a weird limbo state then that’s something where like reaching out and seeing if there’s something weird is always worthwhile.”

Però ci sono centinaia di siti con tali problemi e senza essere siti “pessimi”… eppure sono finiti in questo limbo :(. Un bel problema per tutti i Webmaster… e ancora più grave è non capire il perchè di tale penalizzazione.

Come uscirne?

La risposta a questa domanda non è per niente chiara, tra quanto recepito da Mueller e basandoci sulla nostra esperienza possiamo dire:

1. Verificare che il dominio che andiamo a registrare non sia stato usato in passato (e quindi soggetto a penalizzazioni di spam)
2. Verificarne la qualità di contenuti e link in ingresso
3. Cambiare IP (per verificare non ci siano blocchi)
4. Sperare… sperare che Google si accorga dell’errore e riammetta il sito nei suoi sistemi di Ranking

Insomma ancora una volta un problemino non da poco… la speranza è non finire in questo LIMBO! (Abbiamo già parlato di problemi di indicizzazione da parte di Google ;()
